PM Stephen Harper showing off his digital media skills, using Twitter to let everyone know he’s an avid Netflix user.
As a matter of fact he likes it so much, he’s not going to tax you for it. On the heels of the federal debate, the PM produced a short video on his Twitter account to let everyone know his love for “Breaking Bad” and that he’s 100% opposed to taxing any video streaming service.
Meanwhile the other parties are not sure what the hubub is about as they have never suggested they would tax such services. Harper does reference “some politicians” saying
that “they have even called on us to introduce a ‘Netflix tax.’”
Harper claims that both Trudeau and Mulcair “have left the door wide open” to the introduction of a Netflix tax.
In response representatives of both the NDP and Liberal party categorically deny the suggestion that their respective leaders had proposed such a tax.
