A committee will meet and go over a report on an executive compensation policy for the TTC on Wednesday.
The question is whether a green light should be given to have discussions with consultants from the Hay Group to provide a policy on bonus pay for senior staff.
The review could end up costing $60,000.
As it stands, there’s no bonus structure in place for the top brass. The review of compensation was a city council suggestion from 2014 in relation to bonuses for senior executives on boards and commissions.
Some have questioned the idea at a time when the TTC needs money to keep fares down and maintain service levels.
TTC spokesperson Brad Ross says no decisions have been made yet.
