TTC riders say that they want the subway to begin running at 6 a.m. every Sunday after experiencing it during events for the Pan Am Games this weekend.
The service will begin at 6 a.m. this coming Sunday (July 26th) as well and that will be the last day of extend service, which will also be the day of the closing ceremonies.
Mayor John Tory says he is totally is favour of that demand by commuters and he would like to see the trains get into action by at least 7 a.m. or 8 a.m.
The subway doesn’t start running until 9 a.m. on Sunday’s, which makes it tough for those who work on weekends and those with prior obligations.
