Toronto Police were called Sunday morning around 10 a.m. about a group of people cycling on the DVP.
When police tracked down the cyclists, officers realized it was the Brazilian cycling team, in uniform, out getting some practice. The team had crossed Eastern Avenue near the Pan Am Games Athletes Village, saw a wide ramp, and then found themselves heading northbound on the DVP.
The cyclists were riding on the shoulder of the busy highway.
Police say the nine cyclists were apologetic and cooperative.
