Greece has confirmed they will not be paying the $1.8-billion euro they owe to the International Money Fund which was due today. There had been some speculation that Greek Prime Minister had been working on some 11th hour deal with creditors before this morning’s due date and before the European part of Greece’s bailout comes to an end. There were reports the PM went to speak with the European Commission President to suss out a finance plan and budget cuts for Greece as long as the PM told Greeks to vote YES in the referendum this Sunday. Who is to blame for this mess? Greedy workers who refuse to budge when it comes to pension and salary? Or government who mismanaged an economy and made promises that they can’t keep?
