Police are searching for a suspect after a Wednesday evening stabbing in the  Kennedy Road/Lawrence Avenue East area.

It is reported that a 29-year-old man was driving in the area when he observed what appeared to be three men fighting.  The man stopped to assist but was stabbed by one of the men. 

All three men fled while the victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The suspect is described as brown, 5'8"-5'10", with a ponytail, scruffy and unshaven. He was wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers hat, black track pants, and a beige jacket.

He is considered armed and dangerous.
