The grades are out for Ontario's Elementary Schools.

According to the Fraser Institute, the average school in the G.T.A only showed moderate improvements over last year's report card.

The Average for the GTA jumped to 6.6 out of 10, up from 6.5 in 2012.

The number one school was Hillmount Public in the area of McNicoll and Don Mills, where just 0.8% of students tested below the provincial average.

Six schools in Toronto are among the 20 fastest improving schools in Ontario, including Stella Maris and Heron Park.
