Councilor Frank DiGiorgio has been tapped as a replacement for Mike Del Grande as Toronto's budget chief. 

The North York councillor is well liked and had already indicated that he'd accept a lot more assistance in crafting a budget than Del Grande.  

Meanwhile, only a day after one Toronto councillor said she will move a motion to limit a term to three years, the Committee is following a similar path.

At Tuesday's meeting, the group will mull over the idea of capping terms for councillors on Agencies, Boards and Commissions.

The move, according to the motion, would give a clear signal to councillors to not attempt a run at a board they've already served on, allowing for new ideas to be brought on board.
