A seven year old boy is dead after a hit and run on the westbound 401 at Dixie Road. It happened at around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon. The OPP says a Hummer hit the back of a minivan and then fled the scene. The seven year old was transported to hospital where he passed away. Three other people suffered minor injuries.
