Toronto Police have charged a 29 year old man with a string of offences, linked to a bank robbery investigation.

Over the last two years, five banks were held up by a man armed with a handgun and wearing a ski mask.

In one incident, a gunshot was fired into a ceiling, however no injuries were reported.

The suspect, Minh Hoang Tran, of no fixed address, is now facing 11 robbery and disguise with intent charges.
