A 23 year old Toronto man has been charged with driving the wrong way on the Gardiner Expressway.

Police say the vehicle was spotted heading east bound in the west bound lanes around 4 Friday morning.

Officers were able to pull the driver over near Parkside Drive.

Tudor Alexandru Stefanescu is charged with impaired driving and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

He will appear in court on Friday morning.
