Toronto Police have arrested 47 year old Steven Paul Brunswick who was wanted for attempted murder after a hit and run at Yonge and Eglinton on Friday.

He was apprehended around 3 this morning near Sheppard and Bathurst after police received a tip he was in the area.

Officers spotted him sitting in a truck and the suspect tried to escape.  A short foot chase ensued and he was apprehended on Bathurst just south of Sheppard.

Brunswick also eluded police Wednesday morning when he allegedly drove his car into two police cars.

He's facing charges of attempted murder, vehicle theft and dangerous driving.
