Toronto EMS have confirmed to AM640 News that an elderly female pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle on Fairlawn Avenue in the area of Avenue Road and Lawrence Avenue.

Reports suggest the victim -- believed to be 70-years-old -- was struck and trapped under a vehicle around 3:15 p.m. Monday.

Police have blocked the area off to investigate the circumstances leading up to the deadly incident.
