Job Action to Ramp Up
Toronto/AM640 News

11/30/2012

We could start to see the first off-site job action from teachers in Ontario, by the second week of December.

According to the Globe & Mail, the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario is calling for one day walkouts by teachers across the board.

Most school boards are already in legal strike position, with the first walkout assumed to be on December 10.

Toronto teachers are not in a strike position until December 10, and according to the report, a December 21 walkout could occur.

The ETFO says regardless of that date, Toronto teachers could walk off the job beforehand.
