People living in midtown Toronto may find themselves in the dark on Friday morning.

Toronto Hydro has some repairs to make in the Yonge-Eglinton area and as a result power will be out for residents of about 40 buildings.

The power outage is in an area bounded by Broadway to Soudan and Duplex to Bayview.

Crews expect to have the lights restored by the noon.
