Toronto/AM640 News

9/16/2012

Police in 23 division are investigating after a man's body was found on the lawn of a home on Midden Crescent in Etobicoke.

Police say the body was found with obvious trauma, and was pronounced on the scene around 7am Saturday.

The Homicide Unit was called in to investigate.

He has since been identified as 33 year-old Edwin Villan.

Investigators want to hear from anyone who may have known about the victims whereabouts in the hours leading up to his death.

There is evidence that a vehicle may have been involved.

Police are looking for the suspected vehicle, which is described as a dark (blue, black or dark grey), late-model GMC Sierra or Chevrolet Silverado pickup with aftermarket tires and wheels.

The driver of that truck is described as white, 30 - 40 years old around 6 feet tall and 180 - 200 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a long sleeved shift, light coloured baseball cap with dark beige pants.

A picture of a damaged hubcap found on the scene is below.
