The OPP have laid charges against an Ajax woman following an investigation into stolen lottery tickets.

The incident saw an employee steal a large quantity of scratch tickets from the lottery retail location she worked at.

On Wednesday, police arrested a 56 year old woman, charging her with theft under $5,000.

The accused was released on Promise to Appear, and is set to appear in a courtroom at the end of October.
