After a back and forth battle over teacher contracts, MPP's will return to work today to settle the issue.
The Liberal "Putting Students First Act" will attempt to get all teachers in the province under one contract, to avoid a costly rollover of the existing contact.
The Progressive Conservatives have indicated they'll support the legislation, which needs votes from one opposition party to pass.
However, Tim Hudak says that in order for the bill to garner their approval, amendments will need to be made.
The new contract will rein in wages, slash benefits, and prevent strikes and lockouts.
A rally is planned by three unions on Tuesday.
