Musicians, mimes, magicians, and other street performers will take to the St. Lawrence Market neighbourhood for the 13th annual BuskerFest.
It begins on Thursday and is expected to attract more than 1 million visitors by Sunday.
Road closures are in effect from 9am Thursday through to Sunday at midnight. They are as follows:
THURSDAY AUGUST 23 - SUNDAY, AUGUST 26 From 9am Thursday through to Sunday at midnight, Front Street between Jarvis and Yonge Streets, including Market Street, Church Street and Scott Street from Front Street south to the Esplanade, will be closed. One lane, heading east on Front Street from Yonge to Scott Street and then heading south on Scott Street, will remain open throughout the weekend. FRIDAY AUGUST 24 - SUNDAY, AUGUST 26 Additionally, Church Street south of Colborne Street and Wellington Street east of Leader Lane will be closed from 6pm on Friday to midnight on Sunday. Street signs will direct traffic towards alternate routes.
