Toronto Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault near Markham & Eglinton

Around 12:30 Monday morning, a male reportedly attacked and assaulted a woman, choking her with an article of clothing.

The victim managed to escape and flee the scene.

The male involved is described as white, 50-55 years old, 5'10, 190 lbs., with a mustache and glasses.

He was wearing a white ball cap, blue jean jacket and a white shirt.
