There's an idea being floated to build a cricket stadium on the Toronto Islands near the airport.

Doug Hannum, C.E.O. of Cricket Canada, says the proposed stadium would become the national home of Cricket Canada, provided they can secure a 25 year lease.

The main idea is to have a pitch ready by Spring, 2013. The stadium bleachers would follow.
