More remains found on Millard farm: Police
Hamilton police have made another discovery on the farm owned by Dellen Millard, the man charged with first degree murder in the death of Tim Bosma.  The CBC is reporting that police have found remains on the property in addition to those of the Ancaster father.  Forensics investigators are now working to determine whether those remains are human or animal.Police say Millard was not raising livestock on the farm.  It was revealed last week that an incinerator was discovered on the property and that it had been purchased last summer.   Investigators are probing the disappearance of 23 year old Laura Babcock of Toronto.  She went missing at the end of June of last year and there were eight calls made to Millard's cell phone in the days leading up to her disappearance.   Babcock's friends say she was once in a relationship with Millard. Police confirmed they are also investigating the apparent suicide of Millard's father last December.

Local cancer diagnostic machines to be replaced
A third of the machines used in Hamilton and Niagara to diagnose breast cancer need to be replaced in the wake of a study by Cancer Care Ontario.  That study shows computed radiography misses more breast cancer tumours than either mamography and digital images.  Of the 32 diagnostic machines in this area's local health integration network, ten are computed radiography machines.  Ontario will be spending 25 million dollars to replace all the devices in question across the province.  However, the study's lead author says women should not be overly concerned for their well being.Dr. Derek Muradali says the risk of missing a breast cancer is extremely low and he recommends women wait for their next screening appointment as usual. However, he says if patients are concerned or anxious, they could have a repeat mammogram.

Ancaster grieves loss of Tim Bosma
There's been a steady stream of visitors to Ancaster's Old Town Hall since early Friday afternoon. That's where people are lining up to sign a book of condolences following the murder of 32 year old Tim Bosma. One gentleman says the ordeal is "absolutely heartbreaking" for the community.  Another noted that you don't expect this sort of thing to happen in rural Ancaster. Tim Bosma leaves behind a large family including wife Sharlene and a two-year-old daughter.  Councillor Lloyd Ferguson notes that the book of condolences allows people an opportunity to mourn the loss while also respecting the family's need for privacy. A public memorial is planned for next Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at Carmen's Banquet Centre.
