A man has invented a dog collar that could save your pet’s life. Too often we hear the stories about dogs being left in cars on hot days and perishing because of it.

It happened to the inventor, although his dog survived. It was the usual scenario; just popping into a store for a moment and then discovering a long line up which extends your stay.

Now by no means is this device meant to encourage the leaving of pets in cars. But should you be delayed beyond your control, this device will alert you via text when the dog’s health is in danger; right around the 26C mark.

Even though it is designed to save lives, it’s kind of sad that someone saw the need to invent such a device. But if one life is saved, then mission accomplished. It is still in the prototype phase right now but ...
