Finally, A Candidate

Toronto MPP Glen Murray officially launched his campaign for the Provincial Liberal leadership yesterday.

McGuinty stepped down about a month ago and since then every single potential replacement has done the same. For a long time, it looked like anyone could have walked in off the street and become leader. One almost expected that to happen the way things were going.

But finally, somebody seems to have the sand to come in and pick up the pieces left behind by the outgoing Premier.

MPP Kathleen Wynne is expected to officially announce her intention later today.

So now at least we have a two horse race; certainly different than the no horse race we had going.

    It's the same cycle over and over again. Liberals/NDP run us into the ground spending money like Jack Layton in the Velvet Touch Massage Parlour.....like crazy...trying to buy voters, unions, etc... Then the Conservatives are voted in to make hard decisions and cut backs to get the finances under control. People don't like the harsh medicine after a while (even though it heals them) and then vote the Liberals/NDP for another round of partying and debauchery. Harris cleaned Peterson/Rae Mess. Ford cleaning Miller Mess. Mulroney cleaned Trudeau Mess.

    Now Sandra Pupatello I can get behind. She is the real deal. A fine person. Mind you, I will still vote for the Niagara cartel because I want them on my side but Pupatello is a leader I would feel comfortable with if Tim was again.
