John Oakley returns August 27th. In the meantime...

The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency said it will strip Lance Armstrong of his seven Tour de France titles after Armstrong declared that he would no longer fight the druger charges against him. The USADA's chief executive, Travis Tygart, said Armstrong would be hit with a lifetime ban from the sport.

In 2011, Armstrong walked away from the sport without being charged following a two-year federal criminal investigation with many of the accusations he faces from USADA.

The legendary cyclist could have pressed his innocence in USADA's arbitration process, but Armstrong said he believes most people have already made up their minds about whether he's a fraud or a victimized hero.

Is Armstrong waving the white flag because he's guilty? Or is it just because he's tired of fighting the charges?

The Tour de France is a farce anyway. You've got a team of cyclists who's only job is blocking for you the whole way. Sure it's grueling...but let's just have individuals riding for the prize.

    Best MAN wins!

The only way to beat a field of cheaters is to do the same. The rules were meant to be broken and Lance did it better than anyone else. For fans of Lance, they should read the USADA charges. In addition to taking the banned substances, he trafficked, administered and taught how to use these treatments. He has defamed anyone that has spoken agsints him as jealous, as guilty low lifes etc. He has won a lot of money as a cheat and has had very close relationships with cancer treatment companies (not listed as sponsors) who have served him very well. By representing cancer he has tapped into a market that has enriched him. Don't feel sorry for him. Ironically though, the message is very grey. EPO has been shown to protect cancer cells. that is if you take this and have undetected cancer, you make treatment that much more difficult. If wearing a yellow bracelet is your show for cancer research, then live very strong...if it is to say: look at Lance, he beat cancer and became the best....consider the message he conveys in its entirety. The Tour is the most gruelling of races. The ADAs of the world have a singular purpose, to rid all sport of additives. As long as they're perceived as an unconstitutional enemy, cheating will be tolerated and gamed.

I now believe that every athlete is a cheat unless otherwise proven innocent. It's much easier to watch that way.

No innocent man surrenders to the accusation of guilt.

He's guilty because he won't prove himself innocent? When did the USADA move to France?
