Parents Not Doing Their Job
Posted 7/6/2012 9:26:00 AM

A couple of stories surfaced this week dealing with the behaviour of children.

In the east end of Toronto, one family was terrorized by a group of teens simply because they lived next to a public space.

One teen has been arrested and the mother has gone on record saying that her child was just ‘doing his thing’. This kid was caught on video smoking a bong and being a general nuisance, which is what most teenagers do; what’s sad is that Mom seems to be perfectly okay with this behaviour.

Another mother is looking for justice because her fifteen year old son was calling a phone-sex operation. After racking up $2000 in charges, Mom is looking for the phone company to investigate and believes they should be at least partially responsible.

Whatever happened to parental responsibility?

With the constant destruction of the traditional family unit, came the destruction of family discipline and finally of family values and their responsibility. The STATE tells our kids what to eat, who to sleep with, what is good, what is bad. They will not let us spank our kids, will not let us discipline them in anyway. The State have given the kids all the power and stripped the parents of all of their power..... and the kids know it and are using it to their own advantage. Whereas families were once allowed to raise their children with their own family values, those values have now become the STATE's values and trump the family ones. The kids are now the responsibility of teachers and politicians if they are the ones that dictate to me how to raise my kids. Don't blame the parents .....blame the teachers, politicians and the STATE.
