Water (Bill) Shortage!

A few of Toronto’s water customers could be in for a bit of a shock.
Thanks to an outside auditor’s report, it was discovered that about ten percent of users were underbilled and did not receive the correct 2011 rate increase.
It may only average out to about $30 per customer, but boy is this kind of awkward for the utility to handle.
Hours have been extended at the city’s revenue services call centre. Questions can be answered between 8am and to 6pm weekdays until July 3rd. Inquiries can also be directed to 416-338-4829.
