Ontario has recorded its third death tied to the swine flu virus in a little over a week.
The latest to fall victim is a Niagara Falls-area woman, who reportedly had underlying medical conditions; suggesting she would have been in one of the priority groups slated to get the vaccine first.
Health officials say the woman died sometime this week from H1N1 but her age or location hasn't been released due to patient confidentiality.
It is the second death from H1N1 in the Niagara area since the arrival of the flu strain in May. There are currently 119 confirmed cases of H1N1 in the region.
