Swine Flu Vaccinations Given To Flames
Toronto/AM640

11/3/2009

While thousands of Albertans waited in line for the swine flu vaccine or were turned away from long lineups, members of the Calgary Flames and their families got their shot at a special clinic a few days ago. Flames president Ken King says the organization contacted Alberta Health Services and requested the clinic. The Alberta government has come under fire for the way it’s managed its vaccination program, which has been closed since the weekend. Premier Ed Stelmach has ordered an investigation into what happened, as the province deals with a vaccine shortage.
