In a season full of defeats, the Toronto Maple Leafs found a new way to lose.
Mike Cammalleri and Scott Gomez had shootout goals to lift the Montreal Canadiens past the Maple Leafs 5-4 in an entertain game at the Bell Centre. It's the first shootout loss of the season for the Leafs, who drop to 1-8-and-4.
Toronto trailed 4-2 with less than four minutes left in regulation, but forced overtime on goals by Alexei Ponikarovsky and Tomas Kaberle. Ponikarovsky finished with two goals for the Leafs, while Lee Stempniak had the other. Glen Metropolit, Guillaume Latendresse, Hal Gill and Roman Hamrlik scored in regulation for Montreal.
