GRANT MCDONALD

Grant is currently the Mid-Day News Anchor at Talk Radio - AM640 and can be heard Monday through Friday.

Grant earned his Bachelor's degree in journalism at Ryerson University and hosted a morning show at the campus radio station CKLN 88.1FM. During his final year at Ryerson University, Grant joined Talk Radio - AM640 as a part-time news anchor and reporter.

While radio is Grant's first love, the television industry has always called his name. In 2009, Grant briefly worked as a writer at CHCH News in Hamilton and got a taste of the behind-the-scenes life of TV. In 2010, after three years with Talk Radio - AM640, Grant decided to take on a new challenge and joined GO Transit where he could be heard on other Toronto radio and television stations, giving the latest information regarding GO Transit delays.

When the chance to rejoin the AM640 News team on a full time basis appeared, Grant jumped at the opportunity and is thrilled to be back in one of the best newsrooms in the city.

In his off time, Grant enjoys volunteering in his downtown community where he works as a mentor with youth through the organization Youth Assisting Youth. He also sits on the Communications Committee for Youth Assisting Youth and the Special Events Committee for the United Way Toronto. He also enjoys the city’s beaches and basketball courts. And, yes - he's a Leafs fan.

REGGIE CECCHINI

Reggie has been behind the mic for more than a decade.

A graduate from Humber College, Reggie’s big break came back when he was 17 years old, and a local station in Niagara Falls offered him a weekend gig, which quickly led to a full time position before he was even legal age.

From there, it was travels to radio stations in St. Catharines and Hamilton, as well as a stint as a helicopter traffic reporter.

Reggie made the move to AM640 in 2008, and worked his way from weekend mornings, to just about every position available in the newsroom.

Currently, he anchors weekday afternoons from 3p-6p during Bill Carroll's show, on Talk Radio AM640.

SUSAN AMOS

Susan was born and raised in the beautiful City of Kingston. She’s been in the radio biz for almost 6 years after graduating from Broadcast Journalism and Media Marketing and Sales at Loyalist College.

Susan actually started her career in sales and eventually made her way into the Newsroom. After spending some time in the small town of Cobourg as a part of the morning show team, Susan made her way to the BIG smoke and hasn’t looked back.

You can listen to her every weekend morning and sporadically throughout the week. When Susan’s not on-air you just might be able to catch her on-stage at one of your local theatres.

COURTNEY KRAMER

Courtney Kramer has worked in radio for the past seven years, but was in front of the camera before that time.    She worked primarily as an actress in some very sub-par television, with the occasional embarrassing horror movie thrown in for good measure, before realizing that acting wasn’t to be her gig for life.

She graduated from BCIT in Vancouver, and took an anchor position at Roger’s News1130.  During that time, she wrote, produced and starred in Mental the Musical – a piece about family therapy - that was eventually picked up by Los Angeles theatre producers.  She moved to Los Angeles, along with the production, in 2008.  The musical ran for four months, and while involved in production, Courtney began an anchor position at KFI, 640AM – also a talk radio station - based out of Burbank.

She moved back to Toronto in September 2011 and is now a consultant on the musical which is being made into a film with ARC49 Entertainment.  She is really excited to have joined the team at AM640...newsroom singing and all.
DANNY LONGO

Danny Longo has been working in radio for almost 10 years. He was born in Toronto, raised in Mississauga and graduated from Seneca College's radio broadcasting program.

He got his start in radio in Toronto before moving to Hamilton where he got his first news gig at AM900 CHML.

Danny has a vast knowledge of Toronto sports and loves music, TV and movies. He's also a huge fan of European soccer and the Olympics.

Danny has been at AM640 since July 2011 and you can hear him most weekday overnights and weekends.
