While a video of a Vancouver hockey coach tripping a 13-year-old player — leaving the youth with a broken wrist — has shocked those in the sporting community around the world, one parent told The Province it isn’t the first time that coach and his team have been poor sports.

City of Ottawa bylaw officials have adopted aggressive tactics to root out an ever-increasing number of people using fake permits to park in handicap spaces, documents obtained by the Citizen show. However, the crackdown has also created disputes between bylaw officers and those who have legitimate licences they need to use to get around the city.
