Staff at the palace to the stars — some of whom have worked at the hotel almost since the day it opened 45 years ago — were alerted late last week by general manager Nick Vesely but the news was just made public Monday. Soon, Sutton Place Hotel will become something that isn’t there anymore! What other watering holes aren’t there anymore?
