My friend Derek & I went to a local shoe store to meet Lanny McDonald in Stouffville in 1979. We met him, got autographs and left. On the way home, my 'friend' Derek (who at times had a bit of a bully streak) scribbled all over the autograph. I freaked and went back to the store to explain to Lanny what happened. While explaining it the local newspaper was there to report the story and took my picture. You and even see my friend Derek in the top corner of the photo laughing as I explained to Lanny why I needed another autograph!
