    8/25 - 11/30 Put Cancer On Ice The Canadian Cancer Society proudly presents: Put Cancer On Ice Great Sport, Great Cause Canlan Ice Sports – York November 13-15, 2009 This event will appeal to any serious hockey enthusiast. In addition to offering a competitive tournament with three divisions and a three game guarantee, Put Cancer On Ice also gives participants the opportunity to fundraise for a chance to play in a game with members of the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni. Great hockey stuff, such as an autographed Bobby Orr Boston Bruins jersey will be available through a silent auction and there are sure to be other special surprises throughout the weekend! Structure: • 3 divisions of 6 – 1) Men’s competitive, 2) Men’s recreational, 3) Women’s • 3 game guarantee for each division • Playoffs for each division Registration: • Early Bird (to August 31st) – $800 per team • Regular Entry - $1000 per team Fundraising: • Each player is encouraged to raise a minimum of $100 in donations • Top 15 individual fundraisers will play in a game with the Leafs Alumni on Sunday afternoon • Special incentives will be given to individuals raising $500 or more • Online fundraising tool available For more information about this event, including how to register, sponsor, volunteer or donate, please contact Sherry Lamb, Senior Manager, Special Events at (416) 323-7131 or slamb@ontario.cancer.ca.     11/3 - 6/11 Ride to Conquer Cancer This spring, AM640 is out to conquer cancer! Greg Brady is the AM640 Captain for the Ride to Conquer Cancer, June 10th and 11th! It’s a two day bike ride from Toronto to Niagara Falls. The goal… to raise money for cancer research at Princess Margaret Hospital. We supply the food, tents, entertainment and return trip home. You supply your bike, your good legs and sponsors. We’ll show you how to train and how generate donations!
