The lack of on-ice success is starting to cause some problems for Leafs brass.
For the first time since the Air Canada Centre opened in '99, there have been luxury boxes for Leafs games that have gone unsold.
MLSE President Richard Peddie won't give the exact numbers, although half-a-dozen were dark last Saturday for the game against the Flames.
He thinks it has more to do with the recession than the team's losing but admits a winning club would certainly erase the problem.
