The Harper Tories will table a report today showing cops across the country used the Federal gun registry 3.5 million times last year.
But the opposition is livid that Public Safety Minister Peter Van Loan sat on the report for a few days.
It appears to have been an attempt to keep the stats confidential, before the crucial vote in the commons two days ago, on a bill to scrap the registry for rifles and shotguns.
