At this point, clinics are for high priority groups only. During an update Thursday afternoon, Health Minister Deb Mathews added the family members of newborns to the list of priority groups.
As well, Mathews expressed outrage over reports that some of Toronto’s pro-athletes got vaccinations ahead of the public. She’s looking into how that happened since shots are only intended for certain groups right now. Some Raptors and Leafs did get vaccinated, but MLSE says there was no preferential treatment.
