Large Truck Rally to Hit the Major Highways

    11/2/2009

It could be a much slower drive to work this morning. The Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario is planning a truck and bus convoy along the D-V-P, 401 and the QEW to Queens Park for a protest rally.

Gus Rahim, president of the Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario says there will be about 50 tractor trailers and buses making their way along the highway for the protest.

They plan to be outside of Queens Park by 10 a.m. until about noon to pressure the government to resume driver testing in the province, as the DriveTest strike is now entering its 11th week.
