A lively swine flu debate is underway in the House of Commons after the government faced some fierce criticism over its handling of the health crisis.
The federal Liberals and N-D-P demanded the emergency debate and Speaker Peter Milliken gave his blessing.
The parties are accusing the Conservative government of incompetence and insist the debate is needed because of a vaccine shortage, long lineups and overall confusion.
This week's shortage has meant some clinics have had to turn people away because of dwindling supply.
