Homicide detectives looking into the city's 36th murder of the year. It happened just after 11pm, Monday night, in the Finch and Martin Grove area.

 

Apparently the victim, a young man in his 20's, was gunned down while riding his bike. Reports say he was shot multiple times, with at least one serious wound to his head. Witnesses place an older model black Honda Civic racing away from the scene and police say they are looking for a black man with very dark skin, wearing black clothing and black fitted baseball cap.

 

The victim has been identified as Tevane Sean Lennon, 22, of Toronto.

A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, 2009.
