UPDATE: 14 Year Old Found Shot To Death
    Toronto/AM640 News

    5/12/2009

Homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the west end.

Police say 14-year-old Adrian Johnston was found shot to death in a hydro field near Dundas and Scarlett. The victim has multiple gun shot wounds to the chest.

Police officials won't say how the body was found but the discovery was made around 5:00 p.m. Monday evening.

No arrests have been made but police are looking for a man seen leaving the area. He is described as: male, black, 5'6-5'7", dark pants, dark hoodie with a white swirl pattern and a black bandana covering most of his face.
There have been multiple incidents in the West end of the city in the past few weeks, including a shooting at a house party that sent six people to hospital.

"There is no information at this time to suggest that Adrian's murder is gang related, or that it is related to any other shootings which have occured in the West end of Toronto in the past few weeks," said Det. Sgt. Brian Borg at a press conference Tuesday afternoon. "That does not, however, mean that it is not one of those possibilities, either."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
