Thanks to the federal government, businesses in southern Ontario will have greater opportunities to expand and improve their operations.
Conservative Minister Gary Goodyear has announced a pair of investments worth 30 million dollars.
15 million has been put into the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters SMART Program to fund roughly 300 projects that will help small and medium sized manufacturers increase their productivity and competitiveness in the global economy.
A top-up of 15 million dollars has also been announced for the Southern Ontario Development Program.
Overall funding for the SODP through next year is 100 million dollars.
