There's no end in sight to the strike by teaching and research assistants at McMaster University.
Talks broke off yesterday after just 20 minutes.
CUPE says McMaster negotiators did not respond to its latest offer in the brief talks yesterday.
The university says it's going to keep what it calls it's "best" offer on table until November 10th.
If it's not accepted by then the offer will be withdrawn.
The main issues include class size and benefits.
There's no word on when negotiations will resume.
The strike started on Monday morning, involving McMaster's 27 hundred teaching and research assistants.
The majority of them had voted on Sunday against sending the university's latest offer to a ratification vote.
