There's still no definitive word as to when the H1N1 vaccine will be available for the general population.
Wait times have shortened dramatically this week however, for high-risk individuals who are attending clinics operated by Hamilton's public health department..
Dr. Chris Mackie says the operation of four clinics simultaneously throughout the city is making a big difference, as is the availability of the vaccine at dozens of family doctor's offices.
The city's associate medical officer of health adds that he also looks forward to the vaccine being available in schools and workplaces in the near future.
