Three Tiger-Cats have been named players of the week after Hamilton's 24-6 win over Saskatchewan.

Running back DeAndra' Cobb grabbed offensive player of the week honours after rushing for 159 yards and a touchdown.

Cobb also surpassed the 1,000 yard rushing mark in the game, becoming the seventh running back to do so this season.

He now has 1,140 rushing yards in his first CFL season.

This is the third time Cobb has won the offensive player of the week honour this season.

Linebacker Otis Floyd was named defensive player of the week.

Floyd had four tackles including two sacks in the win.

Floyd has racked up 61 tackles and five sacks for the Ticats this season.

Receiver Dave Stala made 9 catches for 126 yards and was named top Canadian.

The Cats visit Winnipeg this Sunday at 1 on Y108 and CHML.

By the way, the Ticats have signed free agent offensive lineman Matt Morencie and have released safety Sasha Glavic.
