'The Best Job in the World' is within the grasp of a young Edmonton woman.
Linda Hoang's video application has been voted in the top 50 candidates to be an island caretaker for Tourism Queensland, in Australia.
The winner will get a six month contract to travel the islands of the Great Barrier Reef and detail their adventures through blogs, photo diaries and video updates.
Hoang said she was so anxious for the news, she could barely eat or sleep. She tells 630 Ched how happy she is.
"I'm totally blown away, and exstatic, and amazed that I'm in the top 50 out of over 34,000 people in th entire world, so it's a really really good feeling."
The next round of votes will go on between now and March 24th, which will thin the herd to 10, with an 11th wild card pick.
