What a performance by the Eskimos, their best game of the season by far, as they defeated the B.C Lions 45-13.
Eskimos running back and Eskimos quarterback Ricky Ray were the show in this game. Ray had two rushing touchdowns and threw for 248 yards and also threw for a touchdown. Arkee Whitlock was also clutch running for 165 yards on just twenty carries. Whitlock also found the end zone twice.
The B.C Lions weren't so lucky in this game, they not only lost their first string quarterback Casey Printers, they also lost their back up quarterback, Buck Pierce to injury. So the Lions were forced to go with their third and last quarterback Zack Champion who didn't fair very well in the game, who was just 4 of 14 for 35 yards and threw an interception which on this night, was not what the Lions were hoping for out of their quarterback.
The Eskimos will now have to wait and see if their going to play either Saskatchewan or Calgary in the Western semi final, next sunday at 230.
