Mounties are laying charges in the tragic death of a Rocky Mountian House teen.
The young man was killed when a bear-banger went off in his friend's hands while he examined it in a parked car.
A bear-banger is a pen-like device used to shoot objects, mace or make noise to drive off
bears. It's often used by hunters. The victim's friend had found it on the floor of the car. Now the surviving teen's father is set to appear in Rocky Mountian House court December 2nd.
RCMP have charged 41-year-old James Alexander Rose with negligence causing death as well as other charges.
