Alberta's H1N1 vaccination program will resume Thursday.
Clinics will be set up for those in the highest-risk categories -- starting with children under the age of five. Proof of age will be needed using health cards, birth certificates, or other forms of identification.
Pregnant women will be eligible to get their shots, starting Friday.
As of now, there's no set date to immunize those in the third "high-risk" category, as identified by Health Minister Ron Liepert Monday -- those being people under age 65 with chronic health problems. That will depend on when the province gets access to more vaccine. Details will also be announced later for more open vaccination clinics.
There will be six designated sites for vaccinations in Edmonton -- Commonwealth Stadium joins existing clinics set up at Millbourne Mall, Westmount Centre, Bonnie Doon Mall, Rutherford Health Centre, and Northgate Centre.
Clinics are also being set up at Strathcona County Health Centre in Sherwood Park, and Grandin Mall in St. Albert.(bp)
